About Us
Here at the Walled Garden local sourcing really is a way of life.

History
Applecross House was built in 1675 and it is likely that the garden was created at the same time. In 2001 Jon and Elaine took on the overgrown and derelict walled garden, and created a tea room.

Philosophy
We grow all our fruit and veg in our organic gardens. Our meats are croft-raised and our seafood is line-caught in the bay. Here at the Walled Garden, local sourcing really is a way of life.

Community
Sustainability is not only for our food sources, but also about supporting young people striving to live and thrive in a fragile community in the remote West Highlands.
Weddings at the Walled Garden
If you want to have your big day in a romantic West Highland garden with top quality catering, we are licensed to hold civil ceremonies in our beautiful Victorian walled garden.
